Tranquil location just off other attractions as well as the restaurant, I felt safe. The personnel was helpful as expected.

The twin room's private bathroom felt spacious, rare in these places. The historic vibe of the building tied in nicely with a rustic charm.
The fridge in the room struggled to hold anything beyond a small bottle of milk, which became inconvenient with the unseasonable heat. WiFi service dropped out intermittently was great, and despite the age of the building, I'd still expect more reliable access. Checkout confusion arose from discrepancies in timing, with a hard 10 am deadline instead of the anticipated 11 am. After a late arrival, the back door's location was poorly marked, leading to some minor panic about being locked out. Such little tweaks could turn a good stay into a great one.

The room was clean. The staff offered excellent service, always friendly and eager to assist.
The view from my room overlooked the beer garden, which could get noisy at times.
